Quizmaker font colour am I going crazy!

Feb 22, 2011

I havent used quizmaker as much as I probably should have, I am now doing a project that is very heavy on quizmaker and I am becoming a little frustrated.

I initially wanted to do custom bullets, but have realised this may not be possible, and have found a work around.

I now want to use a custom colour on my fonts, so I choose font colour/more colours add my custom colour, select the colour and press OK, but the font remains black.  I can use any of the present colours but custom colours don't work is this correct?

Hi there Phil - sorry for the frustration. See if this gets you the result you're looking for:

If you open up a question and then click Slide View, and then click the Design tab, you'll see a dropdown called Colors. Click that and choose Create New Theme Colors.

On the dialog box that appears, you'll be able to name your new theme colors, and use the More Colors option to choose custom colors for different aspects of your quiz. The topmost item should allow you to define a custom color for your text.

Does that help?

Once you define a new color theme, any colors in your theme will become available in the colors dropdown when you want to customize the colors of specific words, textboxes, shapes, etc.

i am having a similar problem. I created the custome color scheme and have it associated with the slides in master and individual slide view. my custom theme has no black in it at all, yet the color of the font remains black. what am i missing?

I even manually changed the font color on the master slide view and that also did not fix the problem.

Thanks Phil,

I was hoping that by using the custom color scheme, quizmaker would apply the custom font color automatically. Seems like that is not the case. :(

I'm not sure how helpful the Master slide is; if it doesn't apply changes universally throughout the presentation. I can get the Master slide to apply background changes universally - but that seems to be it. Again, am I missing something?

thanks everyone!
