Quizmaker functionality

Sep 18, 2011

I have not used Quizmaker a lot so I apologize if some of the answers to my questions are obvious or otherwise well known.

  1. I am generating a test with 100 questions or so. I have the question content in a structured Word file. Is there anyway to import the questions in bulk without using the tedious and potentially error prone process of cutting and pasting questions, answers and responses? I see the "import" function but don't recognize any of the formats searched for. Perhaps some sort of XML file input?
  2. I would like the user to be able to go through the test answering some questions and not others and be able to somehow determine which have been answered and go back to only the unanswered questions at any point (perhaps at the end).
  3. I remember somebody offered an add on that did a summary at the end of the test --  I don't remember the details of that product -- can anybody point me in the right direction?

Hi Brian,

Quizmaker doesn't currently support importing Word, Excel, or other file types for questions.  If you'd like to see that feature implemented into a future release, please submit a feature request to us by using the link below:

To allow your users to skip questions, you can set your quiz to Submit All at Once.  For more information, see the link below:

Quizmaker doesn't currently display a summary of un-answered questions.  However, your end-user can use the navigation panel to see which questions they've skipped:

In regards to your third question, I do not remember seeing that.  Hopefully, someone else will follow-up if they've seen that.
