Quizmaker - image quality

Oct 11, 2011

Hi and I hope someone can offer a suggestion here.

We are building a quiz for a course to train a clinical (hospital based) system.  We use a combination of Articulate and embedded Captivate HTML files.

In Quizmaker, we wanted to use hot spot questions and also to illustrate other questions with screen shots from the system

However, although the images look OK while we are working, when we  preview or publish the quality of the images is degraded to the point where they are not worth using.   We have tried various image formats (png, giff, tiff, jpg, bmp) and there is no difference.  We have also tried resizing the images in GIMP before importing to Quizmaker in case it was the resizing that was causing the problem.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi Phil

Thanks for the response and, yes, they are screenshots.

I had a look at the link and the sizing all seems to relate to Presenter so would need to be different for Quizmaker.

We estimated about 360 x 270 for a hotspot and about half again just for an image.

Has anyone ever actually worked this out before I go ahead and work through the steps outlined in the link based on these sizings?
