Is there a way to show an individual's progress as they're taking the quiz. I would like to show how many they've answered correctly and incorrectly and how many questions they've answered so far. I envisioned their progress appearing in the upper right-hand corner of the player or possibly in the Feedback Layers. Is this possible?
If you have the questions list showing in the Quizmaker '13 player, the learner can see what question they are on and how many questions there are. This is if you have the questions appear one at a time. It will also flag the question green check or red x.
Hi, Albert, and welcome to the community! Please check out the link Sandy provided and let us know if that is along the lines of what you had in mind, or if you would still like additional assistance. :)
Although it does give the user an indication of what questions they've answered correctly and incorrectly, it's not obvious that the list is there. The quiz we are creating is intended for 5th and 6th graders. I envisioned a drop-down or a mini-dashboard showing them how many they answered correctly and incorrectly. Also, know how many questions are in the quiz and what question they are on. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about. Maybe this can be a future feature request.
Gotcha, Albert, and hopefully others can share some more ideas with you! And, you are always welcome to share your thoughts with our Product Development team directly using this form to submit a feature request.
You can have the students receive immediate feedback with you Correct/Incorrect feedback comments/balloons within Quiz maker. You can also have the students take the question(s) more than once. If on the last try, student would be remediated back into your lessons and repeat that section of the quiz material. Again, the questions list can actively show during the quiz, if you like it to. But Best Practices are to NOT have each question show with the responding choices given because the student may stop trying on the quiz. :) At the end of the quiz, you can have Quiz maker show a button that allows the student to review his/her answers along with the correct answer feedback. This is a great review for the student. You can build "knowledge checks" into your lesson, that are not graded and then at the end have the final quiz that is made up from the "knowledge checks". You can also have Quiz maker give the correct number/incorrect number of questions answered with a percent (i.e. 80%) or a pass/fall. This will appear if you design a certificate at the end of your lesson. I hope this helps. :)
Thanks for all the information and suggestions you've provided. We've implemented the correct/incorrect feedback for all questions, which helps the quiz taker learn and retain the material.
Do you know if the correct number/incorrect number values can be implemented throughout the quiz, besides the results slide? Is there a wiki page that lists available tokens?
Hi, Sandy -- I just wanted to make you aware that the most recent response you attempted to post for Albert did not come through. It looks like all that we received is your smartphone auto signature, "Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smart".
