Quizmaker results error

Hi guy's,
I've stumbled across an issue I need a little help with please.
I did some updates to an eLearning course. As part of testing I like to fail the course the first time to check the user can "retry" the quiz. Unfortunately, each time I get to the last question in Quizmaker it states "You must pass the quiz in order to continue". This is correct however, the quiz does not show the results slide to allow the user another attempt.
I have the following settings applied to the course:
- on passing: goes to next slide
- on failing: g0es to previous slide
- user can leave the quiz at any time
- user can't view slides until quiz passed
The quiz is set for unlimited attempts, it does contain quiz groups and randomises 25 / 35 questions.
What I have tried:
- Replaced the results slide
- Checked all the settings, republished

- I am working on the local drive and software is up to date

Hi Gill,
Sorry to hear you're getting stuck! It sounds like your Quizmaker file is embedded in a larger Presenter presentation, is that right?
When you preview the standalone quiz in Quizmaker, does the same problem happen?
Also, are you using Studio '13 or Studio 360?

Thanks for getting back to me.
The course was originally created in 13 and we have moved it over to 360. I can confirm we have the quiz embedded into Presenter.
We did notice earlier today something that might have caused this issue. When we created this course originally (Studio 13) we had “question groups” set up that pulled 2 or 3 questions from each group. We removed the groups, replaced the results slide and it appears to have fixed the issue. However, we need this group feature to work, so maybe this is an issue with the software or a bug?

Aha! You're absolutely right, Jill. I did some testing on question groups, I found that the results slide doesn't appear if you fail a quiz with more than three question groups. I have logged this issue as a possible software bug, and here's how our team is tackling it. As a workaround for now, can you avoid using more than three question groups in your quiz, or set the quiz in Presenter 360 to 'view slides at any time'?

As a workaround we will just remove the question banks for the time being.

This issue is specific to courses with 3+ question groups/banks.
