Quizmaker trial and what happens when it ends

May 24, 2013

Hi

i've seen similar questions around this topic but I just want to make sure for my scenario.

In our company I have several licences for Studio and one for Storyline. A department want to look at using (at my suggestion) Quizmaker to help with competency assessments. Whatever they create I would like to keep though, even when the trial expires. Will I be able to do this?

I'll want to take their content and use it with my licenced Studio/Storyline. Will their content always then be OK to amend and publish if I do this?

Thanks

Nigel

Hi, Nigel:

Situation: you download a trial version of Quizmaker, create some righteous content, and then the trial version ends. You will be able to save your content, but if you ever want to use it (import into Studio or Storyline, for example), you must have Quizmaker installed, and by that I mean, a non-trial version. That has been my experience, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hope that helps.

Hi Nigel,

Any content you create and save during the free trial of Articulate software will remain in place after the trial is over. If you want to make changes to published content or to project files you must have a running copy of the software installed (trial or licensed). However, if you wish to import Quizmaker content into Storyline, you do not need to have Quizmaker installed to do so.

I hope that helps.
