Quizmaker Unstable and Errors when Publishing to AO

Apr 01, 2012

Hey everyone;

I seem to be having some major difficulties with my Articulate programs lately. For example, I have a quizzes of about 35 questions each that I am able to work with and load to AO. But when I try to bring them together as one test by importing them, either Quizmaker shuts down on me or if I can get it to run through and try to publish, I get the error Wrong URL error (which doesn't make any sense). I can't see how a new test can be corrupt if it is created from tests that function properly.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks,

Cory

Peter;

I have worked with the support team on the publishing issue and they are working on the problem.

However, I am still concerned with the instability of Quizmaker itself. The program continues to give me the "Unhanded Exception" error dialogue box, even when I am on the launch page (i.e. I have not even opened a test yet). Should I download a fresh version of Quizmaker? How will this work with my current serial number, etc? Also, I understand that a new and improved version of Quizmaker will be hitting us soon...what is the ETA for that?

Thanks,

Cory

Hey Cory,

Yeah, it might be a good idea to perform a repair installation of your Studio software. Let us know if you're still experiencing the errors afterward.

And as you probably know, it's not our policy to discuss release dates of future products. But we do offer some convenient ways to stay in the loop, allowing you to be among the first to know when product news breaks:

We recommend subscribing to the Articulate Word of Mouth Blog, where we announce product releases and updates.
