Is there a way to reset the radio buttons so that they are blank when trying a second attempt? Currently when providing a second attempt for a true/fase question (after feedback had been given) the radio button previously chosen is still selected making the second attempt to simple. After closing the feedback is there a way to clear the buttons?
At this time, there is no way to hide the radio button answers for repeat attempts on true/false quizzes. If that's something you'd like to see in future builds, I would encourage you to go ahead and submit a feature request:
Hi Peter, Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am using Storyline, but I ended up making a layer appear to say "Select another choice" based on conditions. Works well but I'd love to learn how to reset multiple choice questions using Storyline if possible!
See if this two-step process will work for you. The one being described is for a Drag and Drop, but theoretically, it should work for multiple choice as well.
Thank you for sending these steps. This does not seem to work for me. I have a condition set up that if # of attempts is greater than/equal to 2 (got both attempts wrong), learners are directed to a new feedback slide. I created a trigger to direct to the original slide in its initial state and applied another condition that if the # of attempts is less than 2 to redirect to original slide, but this removes the 2 attempt limit all together. Learners can just take the quiz over and over and never advance on. The two triggers are conflicting with each other. Any ideas here?

Thanks for the input!
Thanks Peter.
Hi Peter, what about multiple choice quizzes? Can the radio buttons be reset to their initial state on the second attempt? Is there a workaround?
Thank you!
Sorry, Lesley. I don't believe there's a workaround for resetting multiple choice questions either.
If you're interested, Storyline can easily handle this functionality, and it's available for a free 30-day trial.
Let us know if you have any questions

Give it a shot and let me know...
