I have set a passing grade for a quiz. If someone fails the quiz, when they hit the Finish button, I have them going back to the first question, but their previous answers are still selected. Is there a way to have them click the finish button, but go to the first question as if they are starting afresh?
Thanks for the info. FYI - I'm using Quizmaker '13. I have have the fail slide set-up with the retry, the thing I'm trying to do is make it that when or if they hit finish, they go back to the first slide of the Quiz (I have the Quiz property set up to on failure go to slide #17), which it does, but their previously attempted answers are still marked on the quiz and cannot be changed. I'm thinking that it might be best to remove the finish button from the failure slide, is that possible?
I have added text to the failure layer that says, "You did not pass and must retake the quiz" but that won't stop them from hitting the Finish button.
I'd agree with Wendy that enabling the "Allow user to retry quiz" button is the way to go. Adding that Retry button to the Failure layer will definitely encourage learners to click the correct button to retake the quiz.
The player finish button will either close the browser window or navigate to a new URL.
