I'm publishing some quizzes using Quizmaker and when the person fails I want them to be able to click on the Retry Quiz button, but it doesn't show up. I've only ever used quizzes within a bigger PowerPoint document. Is there something I should be doing differently publishing using Quizmaker?
The "Retry Quiz" option you're wanting to incorporate into your quiz is only available when you've added your quiz into a Presenter presentation. This is why you saw this option with your other projects in PowerPoint. If you're wanting to publish your Quizmaker quiz as a standalone quiz, you could provide some instructions for your users on the results slide. The instructions could direct the users to refresh their browser to take the quiz again. Although, please keep in mind that you'll want to disable the "Prompt to Resume" feature on your quiz player template. If you don't, the user could end up back at the results from their previous attempt.
Thanks Christine. I brought the quiz into PowerPoint and published it there as a "one-slide presentation" and it worked. It's an extra step but I think having that button is worth it - it makes it really clear to people.
That's great, I'm glad it worked out for you. You might also want to consider sending in a feature request for adding a similar option to the functionality of standalone quizzes.
