SCORM Problems

Hi Jeff, 

Your version number should hopefully read V6.3.1103.112, rather than V3.3.1103.112. Assuming it does, we have an updated LMS article that may be a little more relevant to the newer versions. You can find it here. We also have tutorials on publishing Presenter and Quizmaker to LMS here and here. 

As for Blackboard, we have one article related to a known issue with their version 9 product, which can be found here. Beyond that, I know many of our other community members are also using Blackboard, so hopefully they will be able to jump in to help with any specific questions you may have regarding that.

Attached is a jpg of the salient information.
Two things concern me.
1) Quizmaker and Presenter have different version numbers.

2) The publishing engine that appears in both versions I have looks like the one on the upper right of the jpeg, BUT the interface shown at http://www.articulate.com/blog/9-ways-to-troubleshoot-articulate-lms-issues/ looks like the one below it on lower right.

That one has the "zip" option I need and the version I have does not.

Please let me know what is going on here.

Thanks for the screenshot You do indeed have the most recent version of both products. And the image from the older LMS article you attached shows Quizmaker 2, a previous version of Quizmaker '09. With Quizmaker '09 (the version you have), you'll see the option to zip after publishing is complete. Are you not seeing that option after the publish completes? 

Well... are you talking about this "zip option"?

It always seemed so remote from the "publishing" utility that it never occurred to me that it was at all related. It was part of the list of unrelated things one might do with any file. If "Delete This File" had been on the list it would not have surprised me or seemed any more or less related to publishing for SCORM than Zip is.

Hi Jeff, 

Yep, that's the zip option you'll want to use. Keep in mind, you're not publishing a zipped file, you're zipping a collection of published files after the publish completes. For LMS users, this is the most common choice, because it allows you to easily upload your entire zipped course to your LMS.
