See-through panel in Quiz Template

Mar 25, 2011

Hi all,

I seem to have created a "transparent" panel in a Quiz Template, so that it shows as an amalgam of both the questions and the answers.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for what I need to change, as I cannot figure out the element that need altering!

Hopefully...

Thanks Brian.

It is set to 100%

I seem to remember that setting the Background to "100% Transparency" was suggested on the Forums as a way to get the Slide Master showing through, a nice visual effect.

If there is a linkage between two completely unrelated objects, this is somewhat irksome, as it means I need to change, and then re-compile EVERY course with Quiz I have created over the last year which needs to be translated like this.

I have never seen this effect before, and would have never expected one thing to be caused by changing another.

I may have "missed the email" explaining this, in which case I take full responsibility, however, this should be a little clearer.

Changing one element should not, (IMHO) have a dramatic effect on another unrelated element like this.

I am irked....this irks me.

Yours - irked..

Hi Bruce,

I definitely feel your pain as it irked me when I first learned about it.  In fact, when Dave Moxon wrote his article on transparency (http://daveperso.mediaenglishonline.com/2009/03/05/transparency-and-consistency-in-studio-09/), he didn't realize it either.  It wasn't until people started testing his solution that the issue became apparent.

The Quality Assurance team is aware of the connection between these two objects and it will likely be addressed in a future release.
