Sequence Drop Down Results

Mar 24, 2014

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to Articulate Storyline. I'm trying to get to grips with quizzing. I've created a sequence drop down of 8 questions. It's crucial that the training gives full results of what the trainee got wrong and what they got right! In the sequence drop down, however, the results slide only gives an overall result - something like 'you answered incorrectly' or 'you answered correctly'. Is there a way I can show what answers were actually answered incorrectly?

Thanks for your time,

Jenny

Ah, my apologies!

I'm using the latest version of Storyline - I thought Quizmaker was built in to Storyline... my mistake!

Trying to make sure that all answers to the questions I create in my course are clear. The matching drop-down question I'm using just says write or wrong but there are 8 questions on there.

Any help appreciated

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

A matching drop down question or sequence question will only be scored correctly if all the answers are correct - there isn't partial scoring. If you'd like to indicate to your users which ones they got correct vs. which ones they got wrong (for an incorrect review) the easiest way is to enable the Quiz review from the results slide and set it to show correct/incorrect answers. On a matching drop down you'll see the correct answer listed next to the answer the learner chose.
