Solutions for Quiz Questions?

Mar 19, 2012

Hello,

Does anyone know if/how I can provide a solution to a quiz question when the correct answer is given to the learner when they are reviewing their results?  For example, after completing the quiz the leaner reviews their answers and quizmaker provides the correct answer.  Is there a way for me to also include additional explanatory text and/or an image?

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you for the quick reply, Peter.  It was helpful.  I hadn't considered blank slides and branching as a solution.  Now that I'm aware, I could definitely see myself using that concept.  However, in this particular case, it may not work.  I am configured to submit all at once and am randomizing the questions.  I might be able to live with switching to submit one at a time, but based on some of the comments on the discussion you reference, it doesn't sound like randomizing will work.  Ideally what I need is to have an image appear below the correct response when the learner reviews their results after seeing their score.  Any other ideas?

Hi MIike,

While we can't customize the review quiz functionality to include images or other content, there are a few ways we can provide review info after the learner completes the quiz.

One idea is to create a new quiz using only Blank Slides and insert that quiz (really review slides) after the original quiz. So the learner completes the quiz, clicks "Finish Quiz" and continues to a new quiz with blank slides for each of the question choices. Using blank slides you can customize the slides to include any type of review content you like.

The other idea is to use PowerPoint for the review slides. Similar to the previous example, you can use PowerPoint to recreate the look and feel of your quiz questions and include any additional review info you like.
