Split Screen Multiple Choice Questions

I want to write MC questions for the new Advanced Placement American History exam. The new format has a document [text or graphic] and then several MC questions grouped together based on that document. What I really need is a way to do the following: have the text/graphic question "stimulus" on the left side of the screen [with a scroll down bar, since most stimuli are several paragraphs, or a brief paragraph with a graphic] and the MC question alongside the stimulus on the right side of the screen.
Students have to be able to constantly see the stimulus [for reference] as they are reading and answering the MC question. Can this be done in the "free form" option? I am attaching a screen capture of what I need.

Hi Susan,
It absolutely is possible to do that in Quizmaker (and in Storyline as well, for that matter!). All you have to do is insert a scrolling panel, which you can do on any type of slide (question or not). Check out this article to learn how to do that. I've also attached an example .quiz file where I've done just that. Hope that helps!
What a great idea! @Allison, would you be able to post a .story example of how to do this within Storyline?
Hi Katie,
Here is an article (with a video tutorial) that shows how to insert scrolling panels in Storyline. It's really easy! I've included a .story file in the attachments (made with SL1 since you didn't specifiy a version, but can be updated to SL2).
Thanks to all of you for your help!!
You're welcome! :)
Thank you @Allison! Very helpful.
