Survey Vs Graded

Jun 18, 2012

I have 5 questions currently setup as graded questions. My boss now doesn't want to see a grade or a pass at the end of the Quiz. the objective is this is mandatory for staff totake but regardless as long as you do the training and the quiz, staff will show as completed the training. Do you advise I delete all graded questions and switch to Survey mode and re-enter all my questions? However, I have a few True/False questions and I see that that is not offered under the Survey mode. What is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you!

Thank you for getting back to me. We do not use or have an LMS system. I was thinking of changing the last slide to have minimal options so it doesn't show a result score. I just am looking to see see if there is somewhere I can hide "Point value" on the slides as well as "Score so far" --- Is there a way to hide this?

Also, this quiz will be mandaroty for staff to complete, but because we don't have an LMS system etc....what is the best way to distribute to all staff withouth staff having to download anything?

Thanks again!!!

Hi Stephanie!

Sure, that's easy Sounds like the first thing you'll want to do, is make your Result Slides really basic (assuming you even want to use them at all). You can make it a bare bones slide the user sees upon finishing the course that simply says something like, "Thanks, you;re done!" Click on both the Pass and Fail Result Slides and set them up however you wish:

After that, just click on Player Templates > Edit > Layout, and disable any point-related options you don't want to show in your quiz.

Then, when you're ready to publish your Articulate content for web, you'll need a web server or a web hosting service to distribute your content online. If you don't have access to a web server, you can sign up for a free Amazon S3 account. Then simply upload your published output to your account, and give your users the link to your online course.

Amazon S3 offers free hosting service with generous usage limits. However, if you go over these limits, you'll be charged a graduated fee.
