I have a quiz that is fine in slide preview, but every time we publish it there is text overlapping -- typically the title runs into the text or the question falls under the answer box. I am assuming that it might be fixable using display settings, I am just not sure where and what to reset. Anyone else experience this?
Two things come to mind - DPI settings and how you're viewing the published project.
If you view a published presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published.
If that doesn't help, try checking your system's DPI settings:
Note: That information is for 09 but applies to other versions as well.
If you still have trouble, try clearing your browser cache. If you've viewed the project multiple times in the same web browser, this can cause some issues with revisiting. This usually happens when you make many changes and often test projects after multiple updates (I'm pretty guilty of this myself!).
It may also help to try testing your content in another web browser.
