The content under Quiz Slides disappears

Nov 02, 2012

Hi

I am localizing a pptx containing Articulate Quizmaker.

Below is the situation where I am.

At first, like what I did with other documents for this series, I could see a slide associated quiz under Quiz Slides after I clicked Quizmaker from pptx.

Then, I added two other quizzes by clicking "Add Existing...".

The issue here was the slide sequence was not the same as the published eLearning course.

I modified the slide sequence of quizzes by directly moving the slides in the pptx file.

However, when I clicked  Quizmaker again, the content under Quiz Slides disappeared.

This issue persists (I cannot see a slide associated quiz under Quiz Slides) even after I redid the whole job.

Is there anyone that can help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Li

Good morning Li!

Can you send us the course files so we can have a look at what's going on? Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. This article will walk you through the process of creating a Presenter package.

When you've finished creating the package, upload the zip file from your computer using this form.

Thanks!

Just in case any other members experience the same problem, I'm going to provide the solution in this thread.

This issue may be caused by a temporary computer glitch. Please reboot your computer to see if this resolves the issue.

Please also make sure that you are working on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.

Additionally, here are some tips for managing your files which can help prevent issues:

1. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).

2. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
