Troubles with Chrome
Jan 12, 2019
Hallo everybody,
when I try this link of my project:
there´s no sound on Google Chrome.
It pretty works on Edge and Firefox, but not on Chrome.
When I try this link of my project:
Chrome doesn´t work (only endless wheel).
It pretty works on Firefox and Edge.
And by the way: Chrome doesn´t work when I try to preview a published quiz on my PC. It pretty works on Firefox and Edge.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Bernd

Alright, the first two examples work on Chrome with the ending .html.
It jumps to html.5, but it works.
But an other example does not work for me:
I can start this link from this place here:
http://wordpress-198458-602965.cloudwaysapps.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Quizfragen/quiz.html
But it doesn´t work, if I copy this link to my desktop, or if I fill this link into the adress bar of Chrome (in a new tab or window).
Hi Bernhard,
Google's autoplay policy has changed recently. This is the warning you're getting when you try to play a sound without user interaction first:
The AudioContext was not allowed to start. It must be resumed (or created) after a user gesture on the page. https://goo.gl/7K7WLu

Hi Bernhard,
This is actually an issue we are looking into within Studio 360, and I'll add this conversation to our report so that we can update you when we can. This is a priority for us, so we are targeting to release a fix soon.
In the meantime, Chrome 71 added a setting to allow users to override the audio auto-play restriction. Here's how to adjust that setting:
We'll pop back in as soon as this issue is resolved in Studio 360!
Hi Bernhard,
We added support for the latest autoplay changes in Google Chrome 71+, so learners see a play button when they launch or resume a course that has audio or video on the first slide in Studio 360 Update 21. You can find more details linked here.
