Turning off Review Quiz option
Jan 06, 2015

Hello,
I am not sure if this is an issue with the last update or with Studio '13, but I just discovered that I cannot remove the "Review Quiz" option from my quizzes. I go into the Edit Results section and uncheck the "allow user to review quiz" button and after I publish, I still get the "review quiz" option on the results slide. Is there another setting I need to change to remove this option? We definitely do not want participants to see the correct answers before they pass the quiz.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
What update of Quizmaker are you using? It seems that the issue was fixed in Update 3 as detailed here. It seems that if you restart the machine and then republish in Quizmaker the issue is also solved. Can you check into those elements for us and let us know if you're still having difficulty?
When I click on "check for updates," it says no updates are available at this time. Our IT department just gave me a new hard drive, reinstalled Articulate Studio and downloaded Update 5.

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for checking which update you're using. Can you share a copy of the .quiz file here with us?
Also, just an FYI when you reply via email your signature is included in the reply. You can edit the post to remove the information if you'd like.
Here is a fake quiz I created to show the issue. I cannot share the actual quiz due to organizational policy.
Hi Kelly,
I took a look at the file you shared - and it was disabled on the Success layer - but not on the failure layer. I disabled it in both places and preview it a number of times and never saw the review button reappear. I saved the file and reopened it to see if ti would appear and it was still not there, so everything seems to be working as expected here. If you're going through different steps to replicate this please let us know.
My apologies - user error. I wasn't thinking of the two different layers - still thinking of the older style.
No worries Kelly - that's what we're always happy to take a look!
