I created a program in Articulate installed on one PC, then had to replace my PC and download Articulate Studio '09 on the new PC. Now when I open the program and try to edit the quiz in Quizmaker, Quizmaker won't open.
The Quizmaker ribbon appears then fades away as though it fails to launch in the presentation.

On the new machine are you running the 32-bit installation of Office? If you're running the 64-bit installation, you may run into problems. Microsoft released a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of Office 2010. Microsoft recommends installing the 32-bit version, and Articulate Presenter '09 will only work with the 32-bit version. Presenter '09 also will not work with the Click To Run version of PowerPoint 2010. For more information, please review the following article:
If you've confirmed that you're using the 32-bit installation, are you able to launch QuizMaker on its own (not through the ribbon in PowerPoint/Presenter)?
Thank you for responding to my question. I do have the 32-bit version of Office 2010 and yes, I can launch Quizmaker on its own outside PowerPoint.
I think the issue must be that the presentation was created in another installation and is not in the new installation of Quizmaker, even though I published the presentation in the new installation after I made other changes. My only edit is to change the point value of each question.
I think I will re-create the quiz in the new Quizmaker to save time trying to solve this issue. Hopefully, that will work.
