Unable to view text

Good morning,

I'm using Quizmaker to create a new quiz, but I cannot see my text as I type.  When I attempt to preview a slide i receive the attached pop up message.

Hi Sarita,

Have you flipped or rotated any objects in your quiz slides, by any chance? 

When editing an image in Slide View, you may encounter an Unhandled Exception error stating that a "Parameter is not valid".  This can occur when you perform both of the following actions on the same image in this specific order:

  1. Go to the Format tab, and select Flip or Rotate.
  2. Go to the Format tab, and select Set Transparent Color from the Recolor drop-down list.

This is a known issue.  You can avoid this issue by reversing the order of the above events.  Set the transparent color, and then flip or rotate the image.

If you continue to have problems, create a new quiz and import the questions from your old quiz into the new one:
