I have just started using articulate and I can't find the answer to my question elsewhere.
I have created two separate timed quizzes in two separate scenes.
Each has it's own results slide. The first results slide asks the first quiz to be one minute in length. The second results slide asks the second quiz to be 2 minutes in length. They both start their timers 'at the first question'.
When I run the project, the first quiz starts counting down from 2 minutes!
When 1 minute is up, the quiz becomes glitchy.
Somehow the first quiz is reading information from the results slide of the second quiz.
How do I unlink quiz one from results slide 2? What Am I doing wrong?
Hi James! Since you mentioned scenes, I assume that you are utilizing Storyline? Looks like you posted in the Quizmaker forum.
Our QA Team is aware of the issue with the quiz timer of one scene affecting all quiz questions. This seems to happen whether there are multiple timers or where there is only one.
I will add this thread for our team and so that I can update here when applicable.
Workarounds: Disable the quiz timer Adjust the timer to allow for enough time for the user to complete all questions
Thank you for prompt response. I did see the workarounds but neither option works for what I am trying to do. I actually created a timed game and decided to go a step further (because with Storyline 2 the possibilities seem endless) and create 3 levels in the game which happen to coincide with 3 timers... beginner 10 minutes, intermediate 6 minutes and expert 3 minutes. I guess I will have to wait to the bugs are out to release the different levels. Thank you! :)
