WIN7 Pro IE9 Compatability

Jun 24, 2011

Are there known issues with Quizmaker working properly with Win7 Pro & IE9. I have developed very long quizzes, 175 to 250 questions, for a client. Printing Results does not work properly with these quizzes.  The Results screen just runs and runs, never displaying the results.  It is not an option to break down the large quiz into smaller ones.  Smaller quizzes, 100 questions or less do display Print Results just fine.  This same very large quizzes also display Print Results just fine on an XP IE7 machine.

The compatibility issue is the flash player.

There is still a large issue going on between MS and Adobe regarding who's problem the Flash player and IE 9 compatibility is. They are both blaming each other. But it does appear that Adobe is almost ready to release an updated flashplayer that will fix IE9 issues.

IMO: flash will give way and HTML5 and its follow up open source items will take the lead.  I wonder if Articulate is working on an HTML5 player/constructor...

Thanks Dwayne,

Very informative!

Hope Adobe gets this Flash Player update released soon!  Not good news for Articulate users if Flash gives way to HTML5 player/constructor and Articulate is not all over that possiblity, but I think they will be.  I have found Articulate to be a very good company with very good support and updates released pretty timely, so I have confidence in them. I don't think there going anywhere.
