I want to add an mp4 movie to one of my blank slides in QM09 (stand alone QM09). When I select "Insert" while in blank slide view and then select the Flash Movie button, the dialog box opens and gives me the option to "Display in slide" or "Display in new browser window".
Was wondering, if I choose "Display in new browser window" will the movie open with the size peramiters I gave it when I created teh movie, or is the size of the new browser window defined by QM?
When you choose Display in New Browser Window, Quizmaker will insert only a clickable thumbnail of your movie on the question slide. Users will need to click the thumbnail to play the movie, and it'll launch in its own window. (If you choose this option, a Browser Control menu will appear at the bottom of the window, and you'll need to specify your preferred browser control settings there.) You can learn more here. Thanks Peter but I think you may have just replied with what I had already stated in my question.
What I need to know is that when the user clicks the movie thumbnail in te blank Slide, will the movie open to the size (width and height) I assigned it with the program I created the movie with, or will it open to a size window as determined by the OM program?
Thanks for clarifying the question, and it's a good one In my testing, it looks like the video will play in a new window at the size you have determined the video to be, not at a size that Quizmaker determines.
