Is the audio choppy when you're previewing it within Replay or in the published version, or in both? Are you working with audio/video files that are saved on your local drive? You'll want to make sure you follow the guidelines here in terms of creating, editing and publishing your Replay files. Since you mention being able to work with another file, it sounds like it may be something specific to this wmv file - do you have another wmv file you could test with? If you'd like us to look into your file further, can you share the wmv file with us here?
The file plays normally outside of Replay. The same choppy sounds happens when published. I just tried a different wmv file and it was fine, so I'll assume something happened in the encoding of my first file to make it not work properly.
I posted before about this same problem, and we never did track down a cause. I am exporting .wmv files from Adobe Premiere, and it seems that if they get too large the audio becomes choppy. 15MB in the case of my latest file. It works fine in Articulate Storyline, but not Replay.
Thanks for sharing that file - I experience the same thing with your WMV file, but not with other ones. As Christian previously shared, he thought it was something in his encoding?
Hey Sam - Sorry to hear that you ran into a similar issue reported here. Seemed specific to the file from what I'm reading above. Any similarities in what you are experiencing or could you share the file for us to take a look? Just a specific file, correct? Have you tried another file or re-encoding the one you are having difficulty with?
Hi Sam - thanks for letting me know. We had a similar issue reported here and one user was able to get this working by updating drivers. The other user continued to have difficulty, I shared with the team, and it seems to be related to codecs. Have you looked into re-encoding the files or saving as MP4?
I have not seen reports of this in Replay 360, but it does still exists in Replay 1 and has been reported to our team. We continue to keep an eye on it to evaluate how many customers are impacted and what impact it has on courses. The number of customers and depth of impact are two of the elements that help us prioritize bugs and fixes.
Here's some more detail about how we tackle bugs. I'm really sorry that I can't say if this issue will be fixed but you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress.
Also having this issue. It seems replay can't handle wmv's properly. Is there a patch for this in the works? I would prefer to use replay as its simple but If not Adobe handles this without issue.
I am experiencing the same issue with audio. I am working on a Microsoft Surface Pro. How would I determine if my surface is the issue or if it's something else?
For anyone following along, her solution was shared here.

Have there been any other advancements or piece of advice with using WMV files on Replay? I've tried everything listed here. I switched to 360, I used different headphones and plugged them into every possible port or plug, I changed the name of the file, etc. Still experiencing choppy audio that cuts in and out every half second. The video plays just find outside of Replay.
Hi there, Dan. I'm sorry you've been wrestling with this issue! Since you've tried the advice given here already, can you connect with our support engineers so we can have a closer look? Thanks!

I am experiencing same issue even now. When i import WMV, it crackes. MP4 its fine. No issues with wmv elsewhere or other programs.

not specific file, all my wmvs have this issue on replay.

unfortunately to go through every piece of vid i need to user and convert to MP4 will take more time than I have.
If you'd like me to take a look, you are welcome to share a sample wmv file as I mentioned above.
Has there been any fix to this?
I am repeatedly having the same issue with .wmv. They play fine outside of Replay, but once I upload the video the audio cuts in and out.
Hi Doug,
Are you using Replay 1 or Replay 360?

I use Replay 360 and I have this problem. It has already cost me a lot of time and I would be very happy if you could help me out with a solution.
Thank you.
Best,
Josef
Hi Joseph,
Really sorry you're running into problems with your audio. I noticed the same thing when I previewed your file in Replay 360.
I'm going to share this with our Support Engineers so we can try and sort this out as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for an email from our team!

Hey Eric! Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you're seeing. I checked in on Josef's case, and I don't see that we received a reply from him.
Would you mind sharing your Replay file with choppy audio? I'd like our Support Engineers to take a closer look.
You can send it our way by clicking here. Thanks!
Hello,
I am experiencing the same issue with audio. I am working on a Microsoft Surface Pro. How would I determine if my surface is the issue or if it's something else?
Thank you for your help,
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
You'd want to be sure that your Surface Pro met the minimum requirements as specified in our documentation here.
Does this happen on every project or do you have any other hardware to test on?
Hello,
I believe we sorted the issue. Thank you for your help
