Hello, we are using the excel format defined in the post for importing from excel. When we select an MR type for the question and provide choice level feedback using the | we get an error. How do we provide choice level feedback for questions that have multiple selection? Thanks!
MR (multiple response) is not a question type that allows for choice-level feedback. This is the error that you are running into.
By Choice: This lets you assign a different score to each answer choice. This option is only available for some question types, such as Multiple Choice, Word Bank, Freeform Pick One, and Freeform Hotspot.

What option do we use so that we can have the learner select more than one correct option from a set of options, and provide feedback when they select incorrect options using the excel format. Hi KJ! You will not be able to utilize the Excel format in this way as the feedback/scores are directly related. You will need to set up custom within your course per question if this is something that you wish to have.
Perhaps someone in the community will be able to assist in your design.
It should be nice when it is possible at the time? I am also struggling with this issue. Made many questions in excel with feedback, questions like MR, TF.

As I shared above, only a small number of questions are eligible for feedback by choice within Storyline.
It's not a limitation of the import, but the way the question types are designed.
