I need to convert a SCORM file to an MP4 so I have recorded the SCORM with no audio using Replay which worked fine. I have then imported the audio for the first slide which is also fine. However the audio is longer than the slide so when a play it the audio spills into the next slide. Screenshot attached.
Does anyone know how I can fix this so that the audio for that particular slide stays on the slide and doesn't move to the next one. Or is there an easier way of converting my SCORM file to an MP4?
There isn't a built in way to convert a SCORM File to an MP4, but if you're playing the course in it's entirety to record it - you could record the audio as the slide plays? If the audio that is on the slide as it's playing is the same as the audio file you're inserting and you let the slide play for the entire time, then I would suspect the times to match up - but maybe I'm misunderstanding how you're setting this up?
I did try your suggestion initially but the sound quality wasn't so good hence why I thought I would import the original sound. If there is no way of getting the audio to match the slide then I will have to do it this way but if you can suggest another way of aligning the audio to the slide so that I can use the original audio that would be a huge help :-)
From your image alone it's hard to tell which is longer the audio or the slide (the slide icons are too small for me to distinguish between 2 and 3). Did you clip the audio at all when originally including it in your slide? Is this Storyline or Presenter? When you're viewing the published output is it set to auto advance or are you clicking it to advance? I guess a more involved method would be to have the audio playing as you watch the published output and are recording in replay, so that you can advance the slide when you hear the point in the audio...but it sounds like extra work.
