What is the best way to take an existing video and convert it into the correct format to upload into an LMS? I have tried several times in replay, but I am not getting results. Looking for the best way to do this- not sure if I am even using the right program.
Yes, it is! It a safety video produced by our corporate tech team. Rather than setting up a link to a local server, I would like to have the video itself be the course without any other content. Is that possible? I will play around in the meantime to find out. I want it to just be a clean cut to the video. Does that make sense?
I have been working on it the last hour and I got it to where I want it to look visually. How to I set it to play automatically? When I hit preview, it seems to already be doing that. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.
Ok. I have it on auto play and have uploaded it into our LMS and it plays on repeat. How do I fix this so it stops once done. I also was trying to find play buttons to add, didn’t see them. Would I have to create them. I am obviously very new to these programs so thanks in advance for your help.
thanks for this screenshot. when i open up my project, i do not see the options tab! maybe this is part of the problem? Attached as requested in ZIP format.
UPDATE- I found that tab once I hit the video in the slide, so i do have it. Now that i can see the video controls, it looks like this video was copied twice so it is in one long stream. This may be the problem. It's almost 5 pm here on the east coast, so I will look into it further tomorrow. have a great afternoon/evening!

Hi Simona!
Is the existing video in MP4 format?
If so, could you insert the video into Articulate Storyline, then publish Storyline for LMS?
Let me know if that's what you had in mind!

Yes, that would work! All you would need to do is insert the video on a slide, and set it up to play automatically.
Then, publish the 1-slide file for LMS, and host the output on your LMS.
Give it a try, and let me know if you have any questions along the way!

Hi Simona!
You can add video controls below the video using the Video Tools Options tab.
Really strange that the video would repeat once it's done playing. Do you mind if I take a closer look at your file to nail down why it's doing that?
You can click here and add the file in a new thread comment. Look for the Add Attachment button.

this probably has a better view showing the ribbon. i do not have the video tools- are they located in another area?
If you have 360 you can upload a video in review and then download as a scorm the video becomes the file on the lms
I will have to try that to see where it lands me. thanks!
Hi Simona!
