I am trying to record an existing demo with the Replay software. It all looks as if it is recording correctly, but the resulting mp4 file has no audio. I have checked my system requirements and ran the repair option with Replay exe file. I can't figure out how to get the sound in the mp4 file. Help, please!
Yes, the existing demo created in SL has audio. I want to record that demo and save it out as an mp4 file that has video and audio. I have tried all of the fixes in that thread. I have verified the system requirements, ran the "repair" option on the software, set Stereo Mix as the default, etc. None of those have worked.
I am trying to avoid band-aiding the project when I know this works. We have been able to record the demo (video and audio together) on another machine to create a mp4 file. I just want to use the laptop to do the same thing. It is an HP ENVY.
And thank you for giving me suggestions! I just want to get a real solution so that I am not creating work arounds for someone else to have to maintain.
Hi Tonya! Going through these threads, it looks as though either the Stereo Mix option or a 3rd party tool is needed. We recommend utilizing an audio file or recording narration, so if any other community member has a suggestion that may work better for you, they are welcome to chime in.

Hi Tonya!
I'm assuming that you mean you need 'internal' audio as opposed to having difficulty with recording audio.
I invite you to check out this thread.

Hi Tonya!
Have you considered exporting the audio from the SL file for use in this project?
