Replay does provide some video editing features, like trimming and deleting clips, mixing video, and adding images. In regards to separating audio and video clips, that is not a feature we've added to Replay yet.
I can see how that would speed up your workflow and our team would love to hear more about how this'll help make authoring in Replay even easier for you. I want to encourage you to share more by submitting a feature request.
This would be a great addition. I am currently editing a screencast where for some reason my audio went choppy in the middle of explaining something. Since I am only showing my screen at that point, and not my webcam, I would like to be able to delete the webcam portion of that segment and replace it with rerecorded audio where I am not having microphone issues. This will ensure continuity to the video portion that is being shown as well as a clean audio track explaining the action.
Thank you for sharing these details with us! We don't have immediate plans to add a feature to separate audio and video clips. If this makes it on our roadmap, I'll keep you updated in this discussion.
