Replay fails to publish after June 19 Update

Jun 20, 2018

Replay has worked great up until the recent update.  Now it seems to capture what you want to capture but whenever you try to edit or publish, you get the dreaded "We're sorry, something went wrong with Articulate Replay and it might close".  I have responded with numerous error reports.  I re-booted my system but still no help.  I just tried the program again with the same results.  Attached is a screenshot of the Replay Error Report.  I got this as soon as I hit publish or try any of the editing tools.  I use this frequently so please help!  Thanks.

Hi Thach,

Of course. I'm so sorry you ran into this too, and while our team is actively working on the fix please follow the steps below to roll back to the previous update for Replay:

1) Open your Articulate 360 desktop app by clicking the icon in your computer’s system tray (by the clock) or using the shortcut on your desktop.
2) Hover over [Replay 360], click the drop-down arrow that appears, and choose the uninstall option.
3) Download and install the previous version here: [link removed]
4) To open Replay, go to your computer’s Start menu and select it from your list of apps. Or, create a shortcut for it on your desktop or taskbar. (You won’t be able to open it from your Articulate 360 desktop app. It’ll show an Update button rather than an Open button while this older version is installed.)

We'll let you know here as soon as we have a fix in place for this so that you can install that update!

I received the roll back email today and we are back in business. Thanks so much for your help. I did check with a couple more of our folks with Articulate 360 and all experienced the same issue with Replay. However I think I am probably the only power user of that program. Thanks again for your help and looking forward to the fix. I really enjoy Articulate 360. It is a wonderful tool for us.
