My co-worker and I are co-editing a training module. We both have Replay but she has Storyline 2 and I am using Presenter 13. When I try to open her files, I receive a message that we are using different versions of Replay. Is that possible?
Thanks for reaching out here! Since replay is a separate software, it's going to be the same on any computer despite you having Presenter and her having Storyline. Just to verify, is she sending an unpublished replay file that you're attempting to open in your Replay to make edits? If so, it sounds as though the files may have become corrupted, and unfortunately there isn't much than can be done to recover it at that point. You'll want to make sure that your project files are located on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior and can lead to file corruption.
If you're working collaboratively in a network environment, I recommend following these guidelines. The article is specific for Storyline 2 but it's good practice for any Articulate file. I'de also recommend checkin out this article on tips for reducing your risk of file corruption.
It's also always a good idea to make sure you're both running the latest update to Replay, update 2.
