Unable to add FLV from Adobe Connect
Nov 13, 2013
I'm needing help! I've recorded several sessions with Adobe Connect and need to make them portable. They have the option to create and download and FLV (after viewing the recorded content in real-time), but when I importing it into Replay, nothing happens. I can take an .mp4 and import it, no problem, but whenever I do an .FLV, nothing. It's like it completely ignores it. The online help states explicitly that it's supported.. I even downloaded the codec package that was referenced in another article here, but to no avail.
Any help/suggestions??
thanks!
David

Good Afternoon David, and welcome to Heroes!
We've seen a similar issue with Adobe Connect videos in Presenter '13. What happens if you try simply changing the file extension from FLV to either AVI or MOV before importing your videos into Replay? Do let us know!
Running into the same issue with Replay, but the AVI and MOV options doen't seem to work either. The file is rather large 175MB so hopefully that's not part of the issue.
Try using a free converter tool (like FormatFactory) to convert the FLV into an MP4.
