Articulate Review - Wishlist Item - Limit Reviewers

What you're saying makes a lot of sense! As you mentioned, you can password-protect content in Articulate Review, but that isn't very helpful if folks are sharing the password with additional reviewers.

Here's a bit more detail on how ideas shared become features. 

+1 to this.  We just found out that our reviewers have been sharing our content widely without permission.  There's no easy way to limit access to the courses, change the review link or temporarily suspend external viewing. To prevent this from happening I'm going to have to download all the comments separately, remove all the review published courses, and then republish.  This is a laborious and time-consuming process, especially given there's no ability to do mass selections and actions on multiple courses.

You could temporarily suspend viewing if you were to enable a password (different than what you may have provided initially to your reviewers). That would allow you to prevent anyone who you haven't provided the password to from accessing it.

I'm curious about your reviewers though, are they sending it to folks outside the company? Would you hope to prevent access of others by using the Articulate ID of your colleagues and reviewers?

Yes, in the end this is what I have done – it is still time consuming though as they all have to be done individually. Some sort of batch processing would really help with this sort of thing…I think the ability to hide/show/generate a new URL for a course would be the ideal combination of functionality.

The issue is we are an NHS organisation (government healthcare) and are in partnership with another company to fulfil a contract for producing training and service delivery. We shared the links with that other company, and they have just been sharing them with a much wider circle than they should. I’m going to talk to my programme manager about how to tackle this issue. If we had set a password initially, they’d just have shared that too!

I don’t want them to have articulate IDs – we would get less engagement and feedback if we asked them to sign up. Also, they aren’t ‘involved’ as developers/SMEs etc, just having a look at the training and providing basic feedback.

Thanks, Nicola for sharing some additional insight into your setup. I could see how that's a lot to manage based on a large group of stakeholders. 

I know one of the other things I've seen folks consider is requiring an NDA or similar so that there are also legal ramifications of sharing the content unauthorized. Another idea to look into while I share your feedback with my team! 

Can we have a email id filed so that only those email id user can review the course with password.
