Can I make it so that SME's cannot share the articulate review page?

Jun 20, 2018

I do not want SME's to have the ability to freely share the module put up on articulate review. Is there any way for me to change the setting, so that when a SME is given a link, the articulate review page that pulls up does not feature a share tab? I am not sure if this is even a feature that I can control or not. Thank you.

I had the same issue! Would love to know the answer.

Hi Avielle and William!

When you share an Articulate Review URL with SME's, they will not have a 'Share' tab. However, they can share the URL, and anyone with the URL can access the content.

Have you considered password protecting the content? In the Share tab, click Set a password. Then anyone with the URL will have to enter the password to see the content.

Thank you Alyssa. I have another question that I cant seem to find the answer to. When I published my content to articulate review, the scrolling panel has a huge blank spaces if you scroll to the very bottom. This issue does not appear in storyline so I had no idea the problem existed until I published the module. I have seem that people had issues with this a couple years ago, and they believe it is an issue within internet explorer. What can I do to resolve this issue? Thank you

That's right, Avielle. Were you viewing the content in Internet Explorer?

Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge have a known issue displaying scrolling panels in HTML5 output. Both browsers often add extra padding to the bottom of scrolling panels so there can be a significant amount of blank space after your content.

Until Microsoft fixes the problem, you can avoid it by viewing the Flash version of your content or switching to another HTML5 browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
