SL360 Review - Things to Understand

These may be a very simple questions but I am curious: where are the review files stored (is this an LMS or other cloud service); what are the differences between the Articulate cloud vs the AWS; is there a time limitation on how long the Review files stay; is there a file storage limitation; if we go over some limit, do we pay for the extra storage or time; is Review available for the forum users to customized in any manner, if not, can Articulate share any future revisions with us? You're got some great questions, David! Let's dive right in. 

  • Where are the review files stored (is this an LMS or other cloud service)? All Articulate services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our Trust Center has more information on that!
  • What are the differences between the Articulate Cloud vs the AWS? All Articulate 360 web apps, such as Articulate Review, work exclusively in the cloud and run on AWS servers.
  • Is there a time limitation on how long the Review files stay? Files will stay in Articulate Review for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription expires, your content will remain intact on our servers for at least six months. Anyone who has direct links to review your content items will still be able to view them and add comments. However, you won't be able to access your Articulate Review home page where all your content items are listed.
  • Is there a file storage limitation? If you have an individual subscription for Articulate 360, you have 150 GB of storage for Articulate Review content items and Rise courses. If you have an Articulate 360 Teams subscription, your team has unlimited storage space. See this article to learn more about the benefits of both subscription types.


    (Articulate Review content items include everything you publish to Articulate 360 from Rise, Storyline, Studio, Replay, and Peek as well as video files you manually upload.)

  • If we go over some limit, do we pay for the extra storage or time? You shouldn't ever reach the file storage limit, since it would take quite a lot to hit 150 GB of space for an individual. However, if that happens, you can reach out to us and we'll help you with next steps!
  • Is Review available for the forum users to customized in any manner, if not, can Articulate share any future revisions with us? There isn't a way to customize the Articulate Review interface, but that would make a great feature request!
