Uploading a New Version of a Video

I render my videos out of Final Cut Pro. I think it would be simple to add a upload new version button since that feature works so well in Storyline 360. I love Review I just wish I could use it more effectively with your product Rise and with videos.

This is the best news I've heard all month! Thank you for getting this feature together and working. Do you know if there is a video version fix in the works, so we can version videos like we version courses in Articulate review?

We haven't announced plans for video versioning.  We do have folders for Articulate Review on our radar, so maybe being able to better organize your Review content will be the solution here!

Are you looking for versions of Peek videos, or other items you've uploaded to Review? I haven't heard anything about that here in ELH, so I'd love to know a bit more about your thoughts! 

Yeah, uploading a new version of the video should definitely be on the list.

Thanks for chiming in. I'd love to understand your use-case for this feature and what video versions you are referring to in Review so that I can share this with the team.

Hi, we are actually using it for GoAnimate animations.  They do have a review feature but unfort only allows 'team members' (with a licence) - but Review is great and allows clients to review!

I believe the use is the same for a video as it is for a course. You upload a video, then you make changes, and you want to verify those changes solved for the objective. Being able to version videos would make Review just as effective as it is for a course. This feature would be very helpful, and I currently I need several revisions of a video to complete a project.

I agree with the suggestion. Adding versions of manually-uploaded videos would be an excellent addition (and a quick win for the good folks at Articulate ;-).

Oh my, yes! I was looking for a way to upload versions like crazy when I first tried Review. Totally needing this, it would help to make everything way more organized too.

I totally agree with everyone else - for videos that are manually uploaded to Review, a version history like Storyline/Rise etc would be a HUGE HUGE plus! 

Wow great to see all this traction with the idea. Hopefully Articulate can see the demand and make it happen!
