I'm a bit desperate since suddenly the Review Feature does not work on my workplace.
My reviewers Keep adding comments but I don't get the mail, that informs me about the comments. That's extremelly annoying, since I just have a bunch of Projects in the Review Prozess and had to stop it due to this issue.
Does anyone have an idea what the Problem could be in this case? It worked fine at the start but from one day to the other I don't get any Feedbacks anymore.
Thanks in advance an have a very merry Christmas Roland
Thanks for your hints. However, I have only one articulate ID and the notification Setting is set to "All Activity" as I should be seeing all feedbacks.
Do you have any other suggestion or is there a technical articulate support that might be able to advise?
Have you checked and confirmed that these messages aren't being delivered to your spam/junk folder? Or blocked by your IT team as a whole? The email address they'll be sent from is notifications-no-reply@articulate.com and you should see it listed as Articulate Review. Also, the subject line would say "New Comment on Course Title".
Let me know if you're still unable to track those down!
Happy New Year and may your dreams and goals come true.
Thanks for your hint. I had checked the spam/junk folder and had explicitely allowed your domain and address. But there are still some mails, that haven't reached me in December.
Funnily the Feedback Feature seems to work again today. I have just tested it with various browsers and have received all comments. Some with a delay of a few minutes. Some right away. So my issue seems to be solved, even though no one did any changes. To be honest, I'd have preferred to have had a problem located and gotten a comprehensive Explanation.
Would you have an idea, what could have been the reason that some mails didn't get to me? Could that be a port issue in our IT Department or could it have to do with the browser we use?
I'm glad you found most of the emails! As for the missing emails, if you had a specific comment and timestamp I could work with the team to track that down?
Without that, I'd be taking a stab in the dark...and would agree it could be any number or combination of things. I'd definitely want to make sure that the list of ports and endpoints all have been allowed and you'd want to make sure reviewers used a supported browser.
Can I get back to you again regarding this issue? A comment from myself did not reach me again.
The specific comment was "Comment Test, Elektro-Material, Switzerland", it was sent excactly at 14:53 and it was supposed to be submitted to the mail-address roland.straub@elektro-material.ch
Any Chance you could track that comment down and let me know, why it was stuck?
I asked some colleagues to help me test. Tester dominik.mock@elektro-material.ch sent me a comment (Test Reviewing: D. Mock, 04.01.18, 16:20) on 16:20 via Chrome and I recieved his mail 16:31.
Tester bruno.zuercher@elektro-material.ch sent me his Test (Test Bruno), with Internet Explorer on 16.13 but from Bruno's comment I didn't receive the notification mail.
Our company standard browser is Internet Explorer. If people click links, it's usually IE to open the link. I use IE 11, Version 11.1944.14393.0 (Update Versions 11.0.49). We also use Chrome and Firefox. Bruno used for his comments IE 11, Version: 11.0.9600.18697 (Update Versions 11.0.43).
As for the settings, I already had them at "All activity: notify me of any activity"

Hi Roland
have you checked the notification settings in this article? Do you have more than one articulate id? that could be causing an issue.

Thx again and best regards

Today I have tested the reviewing Feature with all four Windows Browsers listed and it worked just fine. So let's just leave it at that.
The next reviews will be closely observed by me and if this occurs again I will hopefully be able to provide the content and time of missing comments.
Thanks anyway for your help and best regards

Ah, and I am in Zurich. I think that's time Zone UTC +1
And another Addendum, Ashley,
I also checked with my IT Department and they couldn't find stuck mails. So they assumed that the source of the issue would be in the Cloud.
Me again, Ashley

Hi Roland,
I'm happy to help - what browser were you using? What version of IE was your tester Bruno using?
Also can you check the settings here for what you've enabled in terms of project notifications and how often?

Thanks for that info Roland - and I'm talking with my team as we look into this!
Whoops! One other piece, Roland - how often is Review set to notify you? Daily, Hourly, instantly?
Hi Ashley. This feature is set to "Instantly: Send comments as they are made". Thx Roland
Thanks Roland - that's a helpful screenshot! I'll be back in touch as soon as possible.
Hi Roland,
I'm going to start a support case for you - as I would like to get a link to your course on Review so that our team can continue looking into it.
