YouTube Videos (as Web Objects) not playing in Articulate Review

Apr 05, 2018

I've noticed that YouTube videos (inserted as web objects) are failing to play when published in Articulate Review. They work fine when published to Tempshare. Is there a known issue?

I have a similar issue, but adding the "s" does NOT solve the problem in my case.  When using IE11 the video will actually play, but is only visible when hovering the mouse over, otherwise a blank grey rectangle will be present with the audio continuing?  Works fine when uploaded to Moodle.

Works properly in Chrome, but the business SOE uses IE11.

Welcome to the community, Lee! Really sorry you're running into that behavior in Review when in IE11 – I'd be happy to investigate it for you!

Would you be able to share your .story file and/or video URL for testing? You can add it as a comment by clicking on Add Attachment below, or you can share it privately here. I'll be here!

Hi Katie, I've shared the stripped-back .story file via the private share, and uploaded the results to Review:

I've tested both with and without the extra parameters, and it still displays as a grey box unless hovered.  Source youtbe link is below:

The version of IE being used is 11.0.9600.18977
