I gather that SL doesn't work with a Chromebook. I am wanting to capture screen recordings from a Chromebook and use them in a SL course. Has anyone been able to extend the display from a Chromebook to a PC and capture it as a screen recording?
Hey Michael! Thanks for the quick reply. I want to be able to capture it in SL so I can do step by step and now you try scenarios. I am going to see if there is any kind of extend display function.
I'm glad that Michael was able to pop in and help you here, David.
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
Using the remotedesktop.google app extension available for Chrome, and the extension installed in Chrome on your remote PC, you can record the Chromebook screen using SL screen recording feature.

I haven`t tried this myself, but I know that Reflector lets you record screens from a variety of devices, incl. Chromebook.

With Reflector, you should be able to mirror the Chromebook screen to a Windows PC that runs SL and record that screen.
