This is going to seem strange (or so I think), can I have Storyline 2 and run 360 at the same time. We have a team that have SL2, we have a lot of material designed in SL2. Our parent company is using 360; when I get files I can not open them. I am wondering rather than converting everyone (and everything), can I run both at the same time.

Yes. You can have both Storyline 360 and Storyline 2 installed on the same machine. Not a strange question at all.
Storyline 360 projects can't be opened or edited with previous versions of Storyline, so having Storyline 360 to open the files is advisable.
