360 - Fill-in-the-blanks not enabled

We never had problems with FITBs in Storyline 3. However, now that we have transitioned to 360 we are receiving feedback that learners cannot add text in both Review 360 and in our LMS (Cornerstone). Would appreciate any tips you can share. Thanks much! :)

Hey, Bess!

That definitely sounds strange - and if you're seeing it within Review 360 and your LMS, that points towards something in the file. Some questions to help with troubleshooting:

  • Did you initially create this file in Storyline 3 and upgrade it to Storyline 360?
  • Are you adding in manual text entries or using the Fill-in-the-Blank question type?
  • What browser are you reviewers and learners viewing it in? 
  • Do you know what update of Storyline 360 you're using?  You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline".

Unfortunately, no. No one has offered any suggestions. Internet Explorer tends to kick up this message more frequently than Edge, however.
