Our Company is also exploring 360 video and photo for training purposes. We use SL3 currently and it would be excellent if Articulate got 360 functionality into SL3.
I agree. We we just talking about incorporating 360 video and how we going to have to go to Captivate in order to do it.
Wish they would add as a SL360 feature. I spoke with Articulate at DevLearn in October, and apparently they have already had it as a "Challenge" they did internally and it worked.
I don't want to have to go to Adobe, but I won't have a choice. :(
If we add this functionality in a future update of Storyline, we promise to update this discussion. Be sure to also keep an eye on all the new things we're adding to Storyline on our What's New page!
Thanks for chiming in to let us know this feature is important to you! We're tracking these requests, and we promise to let you know if we add this feature to Storyline 360 in the future.
Wondering if there is any update on 360 support? We are currently building a number of training programs utilising 360/VR and are needing to partner with 3rd party hosting solutions to put a link into our learning courses to jump out to view and participate in the 360 video activities. Would love an update on how this is going to be supported in the future!
Thanks for letting us know this is an important feature for you, Amanda! We're still tracking these requests, and we'll let you know if we decide to add 360 degree video support to Storyline 360 in the future. You're in the right place!
Thanks, Tsvetelina for adding your voice here! If we add this to our new feature roadmap in the future, we'll definitely let you know.

I figured out a workaround for this issue that actually works pretty well. see my problem is that using a web object the student will need an internet connection which may not always be the case. I figured out a way for the 360 photos or videos to display in my output regardless of being connected to the internet or not. I still would like to see 360 support inside storyline however.

I've requested this before, and will add my request into this thread. Our company, Design and Measure, presently owns a high-end, high-definition 360 video camera, and is using Captivate to create interactive web objects that we are embedding in Storyline. The embedding works but is not ideal, we'd rather have the feature natively available in Storyline.
If we add this feature in a future update, we'll share the news here. Everyone who commented will get an email notification once any updates are shared since that automatically subscribes one to a discussion.
Thanks again, and you can keep up with all the new and exciting things we're adding to Articulate 360 on our What's New, What's Next page!
Adding my two cents - We are looking to incorporate VR/360 support (pics/video) as well. We know Cap version 19 offers this feature. This is a defining moment for our team. I'm hoping the Articulate 360 group adds this sooner rather than later. Thank you!

360 degree videos and photos are widely used in China. I mean not only in online learning but also in other daily used apps and website.
Hope we can see this feature in SL360 and SL3 soon.
Throwing my 2 cents in about the need for 360 photo/video support.

It truly helps us understand your need for this feature, and we take all of this into consideration as we prioritize and plan for future enhancements.

Yes we are exploring 360 video and photo functions and need this option available in Storyline 360.
Also looking at CenarioVR, but not sure if we can import into storyline?
Hey George!

For now, these are the file types that are natively supported in Storyline.

Same goes for me, I really hope that VR/360 support will be added to Storyline soon.

Care to share? :D
I'll post a process on here shortly, Im simplifying the process so once I'm done I'll post it up on this thread
Robert, I would be interested to see what work around you came up with. :)
I've looked at CenarioVR and Adobe Captivate, but haven't been totally impressed with the learner interface.
I'd much prefer to develop in SL360 and launch from our LMS as is most of our online training.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to import a 360 photo as a labelled graphic in rise 360?
Is there any movement on this? I need the 3d and vr capability as well.
I would also like to see this feature!
Ditto!
Following this thread. My company has acquired a Go Pro 360 camera. Interested to know if there is a movement to this thread.
Your votes are much appreciated, folks!

We also have a 360 camera and would love to have this feature ASAP please.
