4 Different Quizzes - Resultslides counting on?
Feb 01, 2016
Hi guys!
I'm still working on a 'test yourself' module which contains 4 different quizzes, all 4 containing 4 questions. The quizzes are build with variables, passing score is 0 (because there is in fact no right or wrong in a test yourself) and with different scores comes a object in a different state. Every quiz has his own result slide, but the problem is that these are adding up. So if a user has 2 times true in the first quiz, and 2 times in the second quiz: the result slide of the 2nd quiz will show 4 times true. This should be 2. If anyone comes above 4, the result slides remain empty. I've already checked the result slides, they are connected to the right questions as far as I can see.
I hope anyone knows where to start looking to fix this! Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Anneloes

Hi Anneloes!
Do you have a master results slide at the end that is perhaps set to Combine points from each quiz? There is a tutorial here that may be of assistance.
Would you be able to share your .story file for someone to take a look?
Hi Leslie!
Thanks for your reaction. The result slides are all set to the right questions and right now there's no master result slide. I want to build that one when this error is solved. Attached you'll find the .story file.
Kind regards,
Anneloes
Hi Anneloes!
It looks as if you are using the same variable across the entire project/scenes, which would explain why you would see a cumulative result.
If you wish for these to be handled differently, you will need a different variable for each scene to keep the results separate.
Thanks Leslie, this helped me fixing it! I guess sometimes logical thinking is all you need ;-)
Glad this helped you Anneloes :) Good luck with the rest of your project.
