A problem with slide mask

Thanks for the video - that was really helpful! 

From the thumbnail in the Story view/slide list on the left hand side, it does look lie it kept the master intact, but that wasn't visible on the slide itself. I couldn't see where you were opening the project from - can you confirm it's a local drive? 

Not working on local project files is known to cause some issues with odd behavior ultimately leading to file corruption.

That certainly is odd behavior and I experienced the same issue.

I imported your file into a new project and copy/pasted the slide masters and it seems to work now.

You can copy master slides from one project into another. Follow these steps:

• Go into the Storyline project you want to copy the master slides FROM. Go to Slide Master view, and right click on the Master Slide (the one at the very top) and Copy it.
• Then go into the Storyline project you want to copy the master slides INTO. Go to Slide master view, and rick click in the slide column on the left. Click Paste. This will bring over your Slide Master from the first project, and all the other slides that go with it, but will also preserve your original Slides as well.
