Hi - I've a course built in French - approx 20 chapters across 4 modules. No problems with the stories themselves, but none of the resources (pdfs) that have an accented letter publish properly.
Anyone else have issues like this? Is there a work around that doesn't involve misspelling French words?
Are you linking the PDFs in the Resource tab inside the player or as a resource on an individual slide?
When you say don't publish properly, it sounds like the files open but the file name is not correct? I'd love to see an example of this so that I could make sure I follow the same steps in testing.
If you're able to share a screenshot or a copy of the .story file, that would help with my testing!
Hi - the issue appears to be that the path name cannot contain
accented letters. The resource title can, but not the path. So I
ended up just correcting the title after uploading the file.
Ah, that makes sense Jennifer! Special character, symbols, accents, etc. can cause problems in the file path of resources or even the .story file. This Microsoft article has a more detail on that!
