Access to .story file between 2 log ins to same computer

Hello,

I am hoping for some assistance. I use a laptop on a work network during the day and have a separate account on the same computer and get into the work network via a VPN when I am at home.

I have Storyline 2 on both log ins but am trying to work on the same file (saved locally on C Drive) with both log ons.  Only storyline throws up an issue with this and I get the attached error (no other applications are concerned by the different log ins). I am sure this did not used to happen - it has only started within the last 12 months. 

I do not have admin rights on the computer but our IT staff are not sure they have a fix easily to hand. 

Any assistance gratefully received.
