Accessibility issue when resuming course
Sep 12, 2019
Hi all,
I'm just running through Storyline from an accessibility point of view. Apart from the big issue with text not being read unless you use tab to navigate to it (which people who use screen readers rarely do) it seems there is a much bigger issue.
I went into an Articulate course and used the NVDA screen reader and tab for navigation. I then exited the course and tried to resume, but the screen reader couldn't find the resume button(!)
Is this a bug? Or as designed (I hope not). I was testing on the Litmos LMS platform.
I have an accessibility expert sitting right behind me (he's blind). He sees the same issue when using JAWS screen reader (the supported one).
Best regards
Michael

Update: I uploaded a course to SCORM cloud and tested it. The issue disappeared. This leads me to think that the issue is with our LMS (Litmos) - correct?
Hi Michael,
Thanks for popping back in with an update.
Yes, if it works as expected in SCORM Cloud, I would reach out to the LMS. Had you been able to replicate, it would have pointed toward the actual project and we would want to take a closer look.
