Hey Elizabeth! I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 3 for Storyline 3! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where JAWS screen readers would announce selected answer choices as "not checked" in HTML5 output.

This is actually an issue we are aware of. It should be included in our next SL3 update, but I do not have a date to provide.
